“Pictured here are Katalin Actis and Szabolcs Pap who won 1st place Newcomer Jive at the SnowBall Classic 2008 on Saturday, February 9th, which was held at the Sheraton Wall Center, Vancouver, BC. Prior to this Katalin (aka Kati) had been training to ballroom dance only for a month or two, otherwise it was all new to her. This should be incentive enough for others to go ahead and try it for themselves; it would be an experience not to be forgotten. Szabolcs had been on the social dance scene for a few years, and always had a zest for learning something new, especially where it comes to dancing. The SnowBall presented to him the right kind of challenge, said dance instructor, Elsie Erickson.”
